Tommy Vercetti pays Kent Paul a visit at the Malibu Club, believing he can give him a lead in the ambushed deal. His daughter Mercedes escorts Vercetti around the yacht pointing out the many distinguished guests before the two leave after the arrival of local drug baron Ricardo Diaz. Tommy Vercetti attends a private yacht party held by retired Colonel Juan Cortez, who helped set up the deal. Vercetti promises to recoup his money, obtain the drugs and kill those responsible. Sonny Forelli phones Tommy Vercetti to hear about the success of the deal but is angered when told of the ambush.
